Tour Program Details

Day 1 : Depart for Vancouver

Fly to Vancouver, BC

Settle into hotel / Time on own

Day 2: Vancouver

Enjoy the day with free time to relax or book your own activities at your leisure. Vancouver has activities for all interests, including visiting historic Gastown, dining in lively Yaletown, or enjoying a walk on the Stanely Park Seawall. No matter what you choose to do, the Coast Mountains and the Pacific Ocean surround you.

Day 3: Vancouver To Kamloops

Travel from the coastal city of Vancouver to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia's interior. From the farmlands of the Fraser Valley to the steep canyons and desert landscape of British Columbia's interior, the landscape transformation is spectacular. Highlights include Hell's Gate, the historic Cisco Crossing railroad bridges, and stunning and vast Kamloops Lake.

Spend the evening exploring the city of Kamloops or relaxing in your hotel room.

Breakfast, lunch, beverages, and snacks are included onboard.

Day 4: Kamloops to Jasper

Board the Rocky Mountaineer train at the Kamloops Station to continue your journey east to the Canadian Rockies. Travel alongside the North Thompson River through the Monashee and Caribou Mountains, climbing over the Continental Divide.

Highlights include Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, Pyramid Falls, and the crystal-clear Moose Lake.

Breakfast, lunch, beverages, and snacks are included onboard.

Your admission to Canadian national parks is included in your package. Your pass is only valid for the number of days that you have booked accommodation in a National Park through Rocky Mountaineer.

Day 5: Jasper

Jasper SkyTram:

Soar up Whistlers Mountain and take in Jasper National Park from new heights.

The Jasper SkyTram transports you to an elevation of 2,263 metres (7,425 feet) in a matter of minutes. Once there, you're free to explore boardwalks, hike to the summit, soak in stunning panoramic views and experience the mountaintop your way.

This afternoon, immerse yourself in the natural beauty and charm of Jasper's stunning landscapes and iconic landmarks with a half-day sightseeing tour including a stop at the Jasper Skytram.

Day 6: Icefield Discovery Jasper To Lake Louise

Travel from Jasper to Lake Louise on today's sightseeing tour along the scenic Icefields Parkway. Highlights include Bow Lake, the Columbia Icefield, Glacier Skywalk, and Athabasca Falls. Take a ride on an Ice Explorer onto the Athabasca Glacier and learn about its geology.

Ice Explorer: Tour the Athabasca Glacier in a giant six-wheel drive Ice Explorer vehicle while your guide explains the history of this ancient glacier and points out interesting geological features. Think of it like a "monster-truck meets glacier" adventure where you learn new things!

Alpine Lunch: Lunch is included today at the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre.

Glacier Skywalk: Consisting of a 400 metre (1,640 feet) interpretive boardwalk and a glass-floored observation platform extending 30 metres (98 feet) out over the Sunwapta Valley, Glacier Skywalk takes spectacular scenery and a rare view of nature to unbelievable heights. The award-winning architecture of the Skywalk is a feat of contemporary design.

Arrive Lake Louise late afternoon.

Hotel: Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise

Day 7: Lake Louise

Enjoy breakfast this morning at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.

Enjoy the day in Lake Louise to relax and explore.

Group Dinner: Dine individually from Dining Blocks in a selection of restaurants. Guests dine from the restaurant A La Carte Menu.

Day 8: Mountain Lakes & Waterfalls

Enjoy breakfast this morning at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.

Enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour and learn about the natural forces that have shaped the appearance of the lakes and streams found in this area of the Rocky Mountains. Highlights include Lake Louise, Yoho National Park, the Spiral Tunnels, Emerald Lake, Natural Bridge and Takakkaw Falls. Lunch at the Emerald Lake Lodge is included.

Finish your day by checking into your hotel in Banff.

Day 9: Banff

Day 10: Banff to Calgary

Today you will embark on a full-day sightseeing transfer around Banff and concluding in Calgary. Your day includes a sightseeing tour of Banff, with highlights such as Bow Falls, Surprise Corner, and the Hoodoos, as well as a visit to the Banff Gondola.

Your tour concludes with a transfer to Calgary.

Banff Gondola: The Banff Gondola is a spectacular eight-minute gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain for 360-degree views of the Banff townsite and its surrounding mountains.

Day 11: Calgary

Enjoy Breakfast at your hotel

Transfer to airport for your flight home.
